New pattern: Whip it!

 Here's Whip it!

I designed this hat as part of the october design challenge  in the malabrigo junkies group.
We were asked to design a pattern using one skein of any base in a highly varigated colorway.

Swapping is fun

Last week I took part of the last event by Sauvages, the fall 2012 edition of the SWAP. Everybody had to bring some clothes that they don't really wear anymore to fill up the swapping boutique.

It was so much fun! Besides meeting nice people, drinking bubbles and having a good time, there was the joy of finding new items for your wardrobe. I scored a perfectly adjusted pair of shoes!

Thank you Sauvages for this incredible night and see you next time!

A finished object post!

Took a little designing break to knit myself a pair of Magic Mirror along with the girls in my knitting group. I've been late to finish but now here they are!

Something on my needles

I usually don't post about designs in progress. Today is an exception. I wanted a project that is easy to carry around so I started myself a moebius cowl. I think moebius cowls are  great for mindless knitting.

Gardening, urban style

There's a lot of tomatoes this year. Next year I'm planning to grow a wider variety of greens/herbs/flowers.
